* Primary skills:Technology->OpenSystem->Python - OpenSystem Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain backend components using Python and Django for web applications and APIs. * Build and enhance RESTful endpoints, ensuring correctness, security, and performance. * Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code aligned with engineering best practices. * Create and maintain unit/integration tests; support bug fixing and production issue resolution. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, estimate work, and deliver features on time. * Participate in code reviews, contribute to refactoring efforts, and improve overall code quality. * Monitor and optimize application performance, including database queries and request/response latency. * Support CI/CD workflows and contribute to smooth deployments and release readiness. Minimum Qualifications: * BTech (or equivalent) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. * 2–5 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Python. * Practical experience building applications with Django. * Strong understanding of API development, debugging, and writing maintainable code. * Familiarity with databases, ORM usage, and writing efficient queries. * Experience with Django REST Framework and designing versioned, well-structured APIs. * Exposure to asynchronous/background processing (e.g., task queues) and performance tuning. * Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and release best practices. * Experience collaborating in Agile teams, contributing to estimations, and owning features end-to-end. * Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
